Identification & Labeling » Wire Marker Sleeves
Heat shrinkable sleeves for wire and cable identification are supplied in pre-cut lengths, flattened and mounted on a carrier to facilitate thermal transfer printing. Polyolefin sleeves are available in 2:1 and 3:1 shrink ratio which meet the performance requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5. Also available is a polyvinylidene fluoride material which meets the performance requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/18 for high temperature and low outgassing space and aerospace applications. Both materials meet the print performance requirements of SAE AS81531 and MIL-STD-202 for mark permanence fluid and abrasion resistance.
Polyolefin 3:1
Polyolefin 3:1 shrink ratio wire marker sleeves are designed for permanent wire identification and meet the rigid requirements and physical properties of MIL-DTL-23053/5 Class 1, MIL-M-81531, MIL-STD-202F Method 215 and UL224. The markers are made from durable, flame retardant, radiation-crosslinked heat shrinkable polyolefin tubing. The 3:1 shrink ratio covers a wider range of wire diameters and provides f... [more]
Polyolefin 2:1
Polyolefin 2:1 shrink ratio wire marker sleeves are designed for permanent wire identification and meet the rigid requirements and physical properties of MIL-DTL-23053/5 Class 1, MIL-M-81531, MIL-STD-202F Method 215 and UL224. The markers are made from durable, flame retardant, radiation-crosslinked heat shrinkable polyolefin tubing. The 2:1 shrink ratio offers a heavy gauge wall thickness and is easy to ap... [more]
High Temperature
High Temperature wire marker sleeves are designed for permanent wire identification in high temperature and low-vacuum outgassing applications in the aerospace and space industries. The markers are made of a highly flame retardant, heat shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride tubing. Meets the requirements of SAE AS-81531, MIL-STD 202F Method 215J and NASA SP-R-0022A Outgassing Performance. Available in a variet... [more]
Zero-Halogen
Zero-Halogen wire marker sleeves are designed for permanent wire identification in applications where limited fire hazard properties are necessary. The low smoke and low toxic fume emissions make zero-halogen wire marker sleeves suitable for use in enclosed mass transit and marine applications. Meets the requirements of a halogen-free material per DIN VDE 0472 part 815. Available in white and yellow.
